Peterman picked CFN All-American

LSU offensive guard Stephen Peterman picked up his first preseason honor on Tuesday as the senior has been selected First Team All-America by College Football

Peterman, a native of Bay St. Louis, Miss., enters his third year as a starter on the offensive line for the Tigers after playing defensive end as a freshman in 2000.

Last year, Peterman earned First Team All-Southeastern Conference honors at guard after allowing only one sack in 869 plays for the Tigers. Peterman, who started 25 games at left guard over the last two seasons, moved to right guard during the spring. Recommended Stories
