The five-star defensive tackle from Auburn (Calif.) Placer, Eddie Vanderdoes, has postponed his first official visit to after the season...

Auburn (Calif.) Placer defensive tackle Eddie Vanderdoes was scheduled to officially visit Washington this weekend.

But according to his father, Eddie Sr., the five-star has pushed his trip back.

With Vanderdoes and Placer starting the CIF-SacJoaquin Section playoffs on Friday night, an early Saturday morning flight, and the Huskies' late game against Utah on Saturday night, plus an early Sunday departure, Vanderdoes didn't feel there was sufficient time.

The USC commit is still planning an official visit to UCLA on November 17th, and as of now, that is still set.

He will visit USC in January on the 17th, after the U.S. Army Bowl.

No date has been set yet, though, for his Washington visit.

Placer is projected to play for the CIF State Championship in mid-December, potentially not ending his season until December 15th.

Brandon is in his eighth year with Scout.com, currently as a National Recruiting Analyst and West Regional Manager. Prior to joining the Scout.com Recruiting Team, he was a team recruiting writer.  He's been covering recruiting for the Scout.com network since 2003.
