Logan Working To Bring Others Home

The Missouri Tigers evaluated local DT A.J. Logan early in the football season and decided that he needed to stay home and play for them. Logan tells ShowMeMizzou.com how he is working now to help other recruits come to his home now.

Over the weekend of December 7-10, Missouri hosted at least sixteen official visitors, including 2013 DT prospect A.J. Logan  6’2”  311  Columbia (MO) Rock Bridge, who has been verbally committed to Missouri since September.  Following his visit, Logan took time to speak with ShowMeMizzou.com, and he talked about his visit, and he updated us on his recruitment.

“It was fun!  They treated us right,”  said Logan, referring to his official visit to Missouri.    “They treated us right!  It was really nice!  There’s no place I’d rather be.”

Logan said that he spent quite a bit of time with Maliek Collins and Josh Augusta.

“I’m working hard on Maliek Collins,”  said Logan, who committed on the spot in September, when Coach Pinkel informed him of his Missouri offer.   “I’m pretty sure he’s going to make the right decision.”

“I’m pretty sure that (Josh Augusta) is going to commit to Missouri,”  continued Logan.  “That kid’s a monster!”

Logan said that he thinks that Missouri’s defensive line recruits are “all underrated”, and he said of Missouri’s 2013 defensive line class, “the sky’s the limit for us” .

Needless to say, Logan is solid in his commitment to Missouri, and he is looking forward to the opportunity to live out his lifelong dream of playing for the Tigers.

“I feel like Missouri is home,”  said Logan.   “It’s always been home.  There’s nowhere else I’d rather be.    Missouri is the place to be for me.”
