LSU defeated Alabama the first go-around, but the two teams will meet again at 3 p.m. in an elimination game from the SEC Tournament.

HOOVER, Ala. — It's do or die for LSU as they square off against Alabama in an elimination game at the SEC Tournament.

The Tigers defeated the Tide when the two met on Wednesday, 3-0, behind a big offensive first inning, and a great performance by Cody Glenn on the mound. But because the bats went silent yesterday against Arkansas, LSU must go through the losers' bracket. That would mean winning three games in three days to take the tournament.

But first LSU will start with this one, which will get underway at 3:00 p.m. Ryan Eades will take the mound against Alabama freshman Mike Oczypok, who's only making his fourth start of the season. Head to the TSD Message Board for live inning-by-inning coverage.
