With less than two weeks until LSU's season opener, coach Johnny Jones is considering a starting lineup featuring three freshmen. TSD's Ben Love has the latest details inside.

According to multiple sources, LSU is considering starting three true freshmen – point guard Tim Quarterman and forwards Jarell Martin and Jordan Mickey – to tip off the 2013-14 season.

All three members of the 2013 recruiting class started at Saturday’s scrimmage at Houston, per one source, with Mickey and Quarterman having particularly big games.

It’s expected that Andre Stringer and Johnny O’Bryant would round out a starting rotation at the two and the five, respectively.
