Jeryl Brazil was dismissed from the LSU football program following reports that a warrant had been issued for his arrest.

Reports surfaced Thursday afternoon that the BRPD had issued an arrest warrant for Brazil, accusing him of burglary of an inhabited residence, a felony charge. Hours later, LSU SID Michael Bonnette announced that the freshman RB had been dismissed from the program.

This marked Brazil's third run-in with the law since arriving at LSU. In September, he received a misdemeanor summons for getting in a fight outside a LSU dining hall. In October, he was arrested and charged with simple battery and destruction of property during an altercation at an on-campus apartment.

In the most recent incident, Brazil is accused of stealing money from an apartment at The Venue, a complex near the LSU campus.
