The three-star prospect received his offer Saturday at the "Boys from the Boot" junior day. Ducre ranks as a three-star running back, but the Tigers are recruiting him as a fullback, possibly even as a linebacker.
Fullback will likely be his position on the next level though, as Ducre expects to be between 250 and 260 pounds by the time he gets to college.
Ducre has been on LSU's radar since this past summer, when he attended every single camp session. Ducre worked out exclusively as a running back at camp, but LSU chose to wait until this past weekend to offer.
That offer was Ducre's first from the SEC, previously holding offers from schools like Tulane, Southern Miss and Louisiana-Lafayette.
After receiving the offer, Ducre had said he planned to wait until after his senior season to commit. But the bruising back decided to not hold off any longer and give his pledge to the home-state school.
