LSU Practice Reports: 8/6

TSD has the complete reports on both the offense and defense from LSU's Wednesday morning practice.

LSU donned shoulder pads for the first time this fall, ramping up the physicality a notch for the Wednesday morning practice.

The Tigers will wear full pads Friday, but the energy continues to ratchet up as the week goes on. Below we'll have links to the complete offensive and defensive reports from Wednesday morning's session.

On the defensive side, John Chavis gave the media a look at his infamous "Mustang" package for the first time this fall. Included in today's report is a look at who Chavis included, and which players shuffle around to give the Tigers' their best pass-rush out of that formation.

Offensively, Leonard Fournette made his first appearance of fall camp int he AM session with the rest of the projected starters. A lot of attention was also being paid to the offensive line, where both Les Miles and Jeff Grimes got hands-on with those big boys in the trenches.
