Jonathan Zenon

In 2006, the LSU Tigers look to have what some consider to be the top defensive secondary in the SEC, and one person that should play a key role in that unit is cornerback Jonathan Zenon. During his two seasons as a Tiger, Zenon has served as a quality backup at corner, and has gotten the nod as a starter when LSU started in a nickel or dime defense.

With 2005 starter Ronnie Prude now departed, Zenon is the top candidate to claim the cornerback position opposite of Chevis Jackson. A native of Breaux Bridge, Zenon played alongside fellow Tiger Jesse Daniels at Breaux Bridge High School, where he earned places on various All-Star teams.
