LSU hoping for good "Luck"

Andrew Luck, a 6-3, 210 lb. quarterback from Houston, caught the eyes of the LSU coaching staff last fall, when he threw for 2,900 yards and 27 touchdowns during his junior season at Stratford High School.

Luck was named the offensive MVP in district 19-5A for his efforts during the 2006 season, and has begun to rake in the letters from colleges throughout the country seeking his services at the next level of play.   "I've gotten letters from a bunch of schools," said Luck, who recently checked in at No. 4 in Scout.com's Early Top 100 in Texas.
