2008 Louisiana Profile: Jordan Free

Free can play anywhere along the line

Baton Rouge (La.) Parkview Baptist has already had one offensive lineman commit to an SEC school in Clay Spencer but there is a good chance he will not be the only one of the Eagles starting five to play college football.

Jordan Free (6-3, 280) has played just about every position on the line for the Eagles but he is projected to find a home at center for his senior year.

According to Parkview Baptist head coach Kenny Guillot, Free has several good qualities that make him desirable in the eyes of college coaches.

"He has great size and a great work ethic," Guillot said. "He has great feet and can play anywhere on the line along with tight end and even defensive end."

To date, Free has not picked up any scholarship offers but he is hearing from several schools.

"He is hearing from LSU, Louisiana Tech, Stanford, Auburn, Southern Miss and several more," said Jordan's father, Troy Free.
