LSU (27-5, 14-0 SEC), the Southeastern Conference's regular-season champion and tournament runner-up, received a No. 2 seed and will face SWAC Champion No. 15 seed Jackson State (18-13) in the first round.
The other two teams paired with the Lady Tigers in Baton Rouge are No. 7 seed Marist (31-2) and No. 10 seed DePaul (21-11).
These four teams are a part of the New Orleans Region.
The Pete Maravich Assembly Center will also play host to another "pod" of first round games including No. 2 seed Texas A&M against No. 15 Texas-San Antonio, and No. 7 Syracuse against No. 10 Hartford.
These four teams are a part of the Oklahoma City Region.
Times for Saturday's four games at the Maravich Center will be 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. The schedule of games to be played in these times slots will be announced either later this evening or early on Tuesday.
