Louisiana is known for being one of, if not, the best talent producing state per capita in the entire country. Every year it turns out multiple athletes that are capable of making major contributions on either side of the ball at the next level. One of the best of those athletes in 2008 was DAngelo Peterson from Baton Rouge.
