For four consecutive years, LSU has had at least one player drafted in the first round of the NFL Draft. That streak is now five and counting as Glenn Dorsey went fifth overall in the 2008 NFL Draft.

Dorsey is the most decorated defensive lineman ever to play for LSU winning numerous national awards as a senior that included the Lombardi, Outland, Nagurski, and Lott Trophies.

He played in 52 games for the Tigers with 31 starts and was credited with 179 total tackles, including 27 for losses and 13 sacks.
