Peabody Magnet in Alexandria (La.) has been one of the state’s top basketball programs this decade as head coach Charles Smith has brought home three state championships this decade. Smith has had more than his fair share of players move on to the college ranks and he has another one that will make that leap in 2010 guard Markel Brown.
