Two at the top

Despite having 18 commitments thus far, one position LSU is lacking in its 2009 recruiting class is at safety. The coaches have a few high profile prospects they are targeting to fill the needs at that spot and one of them is Kevin Brent from Dallas, Texas.

Kevin Brent (5-11, 205) has had a bit of a rocky start to his senior season at South Oak Cliff High School.
