Palardy down to two finalists

Michael Palardy

LSU hosted one of the top kicking specialists in the country this weekend as four-star kicker/punter Michael Palardy visited Baton Rouge this weekend. Where do the Tigers stand in the race for Palardy?

Michael Palardy, the nation’s No. 1 kicker according to Scout.com, has 15 scholarship offers under his belt, but the time has come for him to make a decision according to his kicking coach Tim Conrad.

Michael Palardy, the #1 ranked kicker/punter in the United States, has narrowed his college choices down to two schools - the University of Tennessee and Louisiana State University,” Conrad stated in an email release on Saturday.

“The All-American visited LSU this weekend on an unofficial with his family and will return home to think about his decision. Palardy visited Tennessee earlier this summer - he is expected to make the choice between Tennessee and LSU by midweek.”

Conrad added that Palardy hit 4 of 5 field goals and put 95 percent of his kickoffs out of the end zone during his junior campaign for the National Champion St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders. He is the highest recruited kicking specialist in the nation with 15 offers.
