Charles Scott made it perfectly clear from LSU’s very first snap: this would be no world-shaking upset. Just three minutes into the Tigers’ season opener against Appalachian State, the junior broke free from the line of scrimmage and rumbled 56 yards to the Mountaineers’ eight yard line.
