The brightest spot of LSU’s 35-10 win against Tulane lasted all of 27 seconds. With 2:14 remaining in the first half, redshirt freshman quarterback Jarrett Lee found junior wide receiver Brandon LaFell for a 14-yard touchdown to give LSU a 14-3 lead.
