Sophomore Season - Fleming put everyone on notice when he registered 91 tackles, picked off nine passes, and claimed several post-season honors including all-state, all-parish, and All-Acadiana.
Junior Season - Opponents tried to neutralize the big-hitting safety and they had some moderate success. His production dropped off to 77 total tackles, two sacks and five pass break ups in 13 games but that should not affect his stock.
Coach's Comments: “Grant had such an outstanding sophomore year that teams did not attack the middle of the field at all,” said St. Thomas More assistant coach Tim Leger. “Grant is big, physical, fast and intelligent,” Leger said. “He has everything coaches are looking for in outside linebackers and strong safeties. He could end up being one of the best ones we had come through here."
