| Joseph might be the best blocking tight end in the country. He is flat out dominant as a blocker. Joseph is quick off the ball and once he locks into the defender he will drive them off the ball and he doesn’t quite until they are on their back or the whistle blows. He’s a good receiver with soft hands that is tough to bring down in the open field. |
| Biography: |
As a junior, Joseph was a first team all-state, all-district and all-Acadiana selection after hauling in 16 passes for 414 yards and two touchdowns.
Coach Comment: “He’s become a really good blocker the last couple of years,” said Catholic-N.I. head coach David Comeaux. “We always knew Mitch was a good receiver and the biggest thing with him is his hands. He has really good hands and is a good target that can get down the field. He can stretch the defense with his speed and make the tough grabs.” |
