Named 1st team All-Area by the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal
Completed 127 of 220 passes for 1,901 yards and 22 touchdowns.
Chris was 90-180 for 1, 400 yards, 8 int's, and 9 TD's in his first year as a starting QB for Tupelo as a sophomore.
An extremely talented QB, who, as an 8th grader, led his team to an undefeated season and the Little Six Conference championship, and then skipped his 9th grade season last year to move up to the varsity team as the backup to the senior quarterback. Became a starter for the varsity team as a 10th grader.
Stats from his 8th grade season:
Completed 85% or better of his passes.
Had 10 touchdown passes and no interceptions.
Threw for over 800 yards in 7 games.
He camped at the Manning Passing Academy the summer of 2005 and has also camps at MSU, LSU, Ole Miss Tennessee, and Alabama.
