| Biography: |
Henderson spent the spring with the wide receivers after playing two years as a reserve running back. He had 2 catches for 6 yards in the spring game playing on the white squad that chose to run the ball more following Marcus Randall’s knee injury.
As a sophomore, Henderson was the Tigers No. 3 back and played in 10 games. He totaled 273 yards on 47 carries during the regular-season and got 13 rushes for 54 yards in the Sugar Bowl. His highlights from 2001 were a 50-yard run vs. Florida a 28-yard run vs. Miss. State.
Through two seasons, Henderson has 70 carries for 289 yards and three scores. Coaches hope to use his speed at wide receiver once he becomes familiar with the position.
