| Broadway was considered by some to be the state's top quarterback prospect as a sophomore, but he was hampered by injuries as a junior. He has a live arm and make all of the throws, and can also make the big play with his feet at any time. Broadway finished his junior season with 1,257 yards passing (64.5%) for 12 touchdowns and five interceptions. On the ground he had around 500 yards rushing and another four scores. He says he can bench 265-pounds, squat 350 and has a 30-inch vertical jump.
(Soph): He was an Honorable Mention All-State, All-Metro, and All-District selection. Completed 214-of-362 passes for 3,255 yards with 24 TDs and 15 INTs. Ran for 774 yards and 12 TDs on 60 carries.
Broadway reports a 3.5 core GPA and an 18 ACT. He says he’s ranked No. 1 in his class and will likely be the valedictorian when he graduates.
Broadway: “I’m a great leader. I can control the game well.
“I’m also a good passer. I have a good arm and I’m a pass first kind of QB, but have good speed and feet and can move around if I need too.
“I’m trying to get better day by day. I want to work on my accuracy and completions.”
