| Wood developed into a major corner prospect early in his career when at Dr. Phillips High. He transferred to Apopka and continued his success. He understands the game very well, has good speed, and has good instincts. He doesn't make a whole lot of plays in the secondary, though, and will need to become a more consistent tackler at the next level. -- Mike Bakas |

| Lo Wood finished his junior season with 35 tackles, five interceptions, four fumbles caused, three fumbles recovered and one blocked kick. All-Metro Conference First Team (coaches vote), Orlando Sentinel All-County. Wood says he can bench 265-pounds, squat 405 and has a 32-inch vertical jump.
Wood wants to major in business management and reports a 3.1 core GPA and a 860 SAT, which he is retaking June 6.
Wood: “I’m good at man-to-man coverage. I do that a lot and it’s my specialty. I’m also good at judging a guys routes and know what they are going to do.
“I want to break on the ball better. I’d like to get more interceptions and react quicker.”
