| Allen is as tough as they come coming off the edge and he is relentless in his pursuit of the ball. Coming off the ball too high is something that Allen will need to work on and sometimes he will overcompensate and come off too low which takes away from his leverage. Allen has a frame that has some thinking about a move to offensive tackle but his speed and intensity would be best suited for defense. |
| Biography: |
| Jordan Allen logged 70 tackles with nine for a loss, and nine sacks as a junior. He also forced seven fumbles, recovered seven more, and was an LSWA Class 5A All-State selection. Allen says he can squat 450-pounds and claims a 30-inch vertical jump.
Allen plans on majoring in either kinesiology or psychology and reports a 3.0 core GPA and a 25 ACT.
Allen: “I have an eye for the ball and am very aggressive once I find it. I have great technique and like to use my hands a lot.
“But I still want to work on getting quicker off the ball and reacting faster. I want to be able to read the offensive lineman better.”
