| Alex Hill will be a third-year starter for Slidell High School for the 2009 season. He played guard the previous two seasons, but is moving to center as a senior. He was named most improved offensive player as a junior. Hill says he can bench 360-pounds, squat 500 and has a 24-inch vertical jump.
Hill plans on majoring in either sports medicine or sports administration and reports a 3.5 core GPA and a 22 ACT, which he will retake in December. “My goal is to get a 28, so I’m taking it again.”
Hill: “I’m quick for my size and I can get to the secondary. I can finish pretty well, but that’s what I’ve been working on the most. I just want to destroy the lineman and my finishing is getting better.”
