| Porter played defensive tackle but will start out and is projected to play offensive guard at the next level. He hasn’t spent much time on the offensive side of the ball but was impressive on the camp circuit before his senior year. He showed good quickness at getting to the second level and had a strong punch. Learning to stay low and improving his flexibility will help Porter adjust to the move. |

| Elliot Porter finished his junior season with 85 tackles, 20 tackles for loss and 11 sacks. He says he can bench 375-pounds, squat 500 and has a 28-inch vertical jump. He also competes in track (140’ discus), but plans on only participating in football in college.
Porter plans to major in architectural engineering and reports a 3.2 core GPA and a 16 ACT, which he retook on June 13.
Porter: “I’m a run stopper first and pass rusher second. I’m powerful and real physical.
“I want to improve my speed and get my 40 time down. I want to get up the field faster and improve my sideline-to-sideline movement.”
