| Malcolm has a sense of ownership when the ball is in the air. He believes he can beat the defenders in the air and more times than not he does. His ball skills make up for a lack of top end speed. Johnson will likely play the X on the college level, but he appears to be a possession receiver due to his nice hands and lack of elusiveness. |

2009 Stats: Johnson caught 39 passes for 598 yards (15.3 yds per catch) and scored eight touchdowns. He rushed for 137 yards on 30 carries (4.6 yd avg), completed two of three pass attempts for 16 yards.
